Draft Kit questions:
1) Is purchasing your Draft Kit the same as becoming a member?

Yes. Basically, when you purchase our draft kit, you get complete access to our members area. This includes all of our pre-season info to help you in assembling your fantasy hoops team (research, sortable projections, custom cheatsheets, mock drafts, etc) as well as acecss to our weekly strength of schedule charts, which we update every week of the regular season.

2) What do I get by becoming a Fantasy Hockey Realm member?

You get access to all of our fantasy hockey tools in the member's area. This includes all the resources listed in the Member's Drop Down Menu at the top of the page (sortable projections, custom cheatsheets, mock drafts, and more).

3) There are other fantasy projections services out there. Why should I choose you?

All of us here at Fantasy Sports Realm have been playing a wide array of fantasy sports for nearly 15 years each now and have now been bringing you online projections for 6 straight years on the internet. Individually, we have each won countless leagues and many national prizes as well. We are not a big corporation and we don't rely on mindless formulas: All of our projections are still done by hand, one at a time. We are out their in the trenches playing in countless leagues and know what tools are useful and which ones are just fluff. We started this site because we loved fantasy sports and thought we would build a website that we would want to use ourselves to help manage our own teams. Our ongoing goal is to continually add new tools that will help give you, the fantasy owner, the edge you need to be successful in your leagues.

Projection questions:
1) What categories do FHR's exclusive projections consist of?

FHR's hand compiled projections are available for more than 350 NHL players and cover virtually every category used in fantasy hockey. These include most standard statistical categories with 15 categories for skaters and 14 for goalies.

2) How are the projections compiled?

Along with priding ourselves on the number of projections we offer, FHR is also one of few to offer hand-compiled projections. Each of the players projected every year by FHR is closely analyzed, looking at a number of factors including recent and career trends, age, playing elements (i.e.- surrounding cast, off-season moves), and historical comparisons along with many other factors. Only after this process do we reach an agreeable projection for the coming season.

3) What criteria is used for the Fantasy Force 20?

FHR's Top 20 list, or the Fantasy Force 20, is a list of the most valuable fantasy hockey players for the coming season. The list is based on our current projections and primarily focuses on the traditional fantasy hockey categories. The list intends to put all NHL players on a level field while depicting their overall fantasy value.

Member questions:
1) Help!!! Why doesn't my password work?

We have been running numerous fantasy sites on the web for 6 successful years now and in all that time, we have never given out a username and password combo that did not work. So, if you are having trouble entering, check a few things. The most common reason people can not enter our members area is because they have the CAPS LOCK button on. Both your username and password are Case Sensitive. Also, make sure there are no lingering spaces at the beginning or end of either. Double check your spelling, capitalization, make sure you have entered your information exactly correct, and you will get in without a hitch.

2) How do I customize my password?

On the member's homepage, there is a link near the middle of the page on the left side that says "Change your user and password". Click that link and enter the same e-mail address you used to sign-up through Paypal (must be the same one). Follow the instructions and you can change your username and/or password. You can also update your e-mail address at any time from the member's homepage as well.

3) Which cheatsheet should I use- H2H, Points, or Roto?

All of our cheatsheets are league dependent, which means they give custom rankings for your exact type of league. As to which cheatsheet to use, here are a few guidelines: The Roto Cheatsheets are designed for leagues that use a roto system, usually an equal number of categories are used for skaters and goalies (like 4 or 5 each) and you are ranked within your league in each category and given points accordingly. The point cheatsheets are used in mostly salary leagues such as CDM where you are looking for a raw ranking based solely on total points projected over the course of a year for the leagues particular point settings. Our H2H cheatsheets, probably the most popular type of fantasy league, should be used when you go head to head each week against another opponent, with the winner the team that scores the most points in that given week.

4) How can I correlate FHR's projections to find value specific to my league's rules and scoring?

FHR's projections can be customized to nearly every scoring option used in leagues via the Customizable Cheat Sheets. With FHR's Cheat Sheets, you can select only the categories your league uses as well as the value allotted to each category. For example, if your league gives 2 points for a goal and 1 point for an assist, the Cheat Sheets rankings can be altered to reflect these criteria, making them 100% pertinent to your league for optimum success!

5) How often are your projections and cheatsheets updated?

We offer dynamically updating projections and cheatsheets and update our numbers whenever news happens right up to the start of the season on Sep 29th. You can rest assured knowing you are armed with the latest info and projections when it comes time for your draft.
